What is Meet the Locals

We all have everyday things we enjoy doing. It might be a daily walk with the dog, cycling a favourite forest route, or a passion for traditional baking. To locals, these are ordinary moments. To visitors, they’re often the most memorable way to experience a place.

Meet the Locals brings together a small and diverse group of people in West Sweden who are happy to share their everyday life, interests, and favourite places with curious, like-minded visitors.

All our Locals are private individuals who generously give their time. Some may ask for a small fee to cover basic costs, but many experiences are completely free. We recommend getting in touch well in advance, as this makes it much easier to find a time that works for everyone.
