Bake “Hallongrottor” with Rob

  • Offered in English, Swedish
  • Kungsten, Gothenburg
Sweden is famous for cinnamon buns, but when I moved to Sweden from Scotland my taste buds where even happier about the discovery of hallongrottor. It translates to "raspberry cave" and is a variant of a jam cake, but hallongrottor beats them every time.  We bake a batch together and when they are done we try them with a cup of coffee or tea. You will of course be able to take the rest home, along with the cake recipe. I can give you some tips and ideas on what to do in Gothenburg while we bake. You can also expect a fun chat when I tell you about my life as a Scotsman in Sweden.
